A traditional Highland bar with good beer and a selection of classic malts

Spent just about the most lovely afternoon having drinks and lunch in this highland getaway. The hotel owner come barman come waiter did it all, and with the ease of a true professional. The Royals can have Balmoral - I'll happily take The Alexandra!

The hotel also has a popular public bar which serves meals in comfortable surroundings. As well as serving a wide selection of local single malt whiskies, we have also serve two real ales from the award winning Cairngorm Brewery -Trade Winds and their current special, Nessie's Monster Mash. This has already brought us recognition from CAMRA, the Campaign for Real Ale. In fact, the bar has been recommended by CAMRA for the past 10 years in a row.
